Label Expo Europe is now over for another two years but we are pleased to reflect on what was a very busy exhibition for Focus Label Machinery.
It’s that time of year again! And this year Labelexpo Europe 2019 is celebrating its 40th anniversary at one of Europe’s best-connected exhibition centres, the iconic Brussels Expo. With 9 halls, 600 exhibitors, and 4 days filled with the latest in labelling and packaging innovation, Labelexpo Europe 2019 will bring together the most advanced engineering solutions from across the industry. With so many leaps forward in the past twelve months, 2019 looks set to be an event to remember.
At Labelexpo 2019, Focus Label Machinery will launch a new range of compact video platemounting systems for narrow & mid web applications. The Platemate 2 system makes use of two pre-applied register marks on the extreme edges of the polymer printing plate, which are aligned perpendicular to the printing direction. The printing cylinder is loaded onto the system and double sided adhesive tape applied to its surface.
We were pleased to welcome seven of RotoMetrics staff for training to build knowledge of the printing process. Our experienced staff were able to demonstrate the three working flexo presses we have in our showroom here in Bingham, and from unwind to rewind, explain fully all the components of our latest printing presses.
Once every four years the textile machinery industry comes together for a mammoth exhibition. Preparations are well underway for this year’s international trade show for Textiles & Garment production. ITMA is the trendsetting textile and garment technology platform where the industry converges every four years to explore fresh ideas, effective solutions and collaborative partnerships for business growth. Organised by ITMA Services, the upcoming ITMA will be held from 20 to 26 June 2019 in Barcelona at Fira De Barcelona, Gran Via.
