Label Expo Europe is now over for another two years but we are pleased to reflect on what was a very busy exhibition for Focus Label Machinery.
Held every two years in Brussels, Label Expo celebrated its 40th anniversary with 9 halls, 600 exhibitors, and 4 days filled with the latest in labelling and packaging innovation. It was satisfying to see the thriving industry represented in such numbers and such a variety of visitors to the Focus stand. We welcomed visitors from all around the world fielding a wide range of enquiries across all products.
Of course, the machines are the stars of the show and we were delighted to see so much interest across all of our equipment.
The d-flex as always attracted a great deal of attention. Featuring inkjet white for the first time, The d-Flex digital inkjet press incorporates the latest high-speed full-colour Konica Minolta inkjet technology into the existing REFLEX servo press. The Reflex itself was very popular as digital growth continues to soar. For Digital finishing applications, the Reflex range of servo equipment hits the mark every time with perfect print-to-cut registration. This is a high speed full rotary system which provides perfect re-registration facilities, plus the benefit to be used as an independent production machine. Spot Colours, Coating, Cold Foil, Laminating, and Die cutting make the Reflex a perfect match for finishing any Digital Printed applications. With the option of semi-rotary die-cutting now also available, there was much interest and we are excited by the prospects.
The Proflex SE continues to be popular at exhibitions with its ease of use and quick changeovers catching the eye. Producing two eye catching labels, particularly a wonderful peel and reveal label, the ever-evolving Proflex and its versatility always draws a crowd.
Available in 250mm and 330mm width, if you need a reliable, quality, and efficient solution for labels, tickets, and cartons, look no further. The advanced range of choices on our Proflex machines - available as a mechanical version, Proflex E and a Servo version, Proflex SE - means you can tailor them to your individual needs.
We also took some of our ancillary products, all of which were well received. Printing and Converting today requires the ability and confidence to serve a wide range of markets. High productivity, cost-efficient operation and versatility while maintaining key elements of quality are essential.
The FS330 Rewinder, featuring new intuitive operator interface, Pre-Set Tension parameters for flexibility of substrates, fully programmable label and length counters, inside/outside rewinding, fast job changes, high productivity and less waste, plus a wide range of accessories and options.
We also showed the Platemate 2 - A video platemounter has become an essential tool for most Flexo print shops to ensure plates are mounted correctly before they get to press.
Ultrasonic Anilox Cleaner - Over time, Anilox rolls will reduce the amount of ink they transfer because of blocking of the cell structures. Ink hardens and dries, blocking the cells reducing the volume of ink they can carry. Ultrasonic cleaning is an environmental & safe way to bring Anilox rolls back to new condition without harsh chemicals.
