Three weeks home from ITMA 2019 in Barcelona and we are still reeling from what turned out to be an incredibly positive and exciting event. Exhibiting at a high profile international event such as this takes plenty of preplanning and hard work – but it was more than worth it for how well attended and well received our exhibition was this year.
We’ll be following up with some more detailed reflections on the event in a longer blog post to be published in the next couple of weeks, but for now we’d like to extend a warm thank you to the organisers of ITMA, the BTMA, and of course, all the visitors who took the time to come and see us.
What we love about ITMA is that - despite the scale of the exhibition - the informal nature of the event always allows us to catch up with old customers and engage with potential new clients in a relaxed and professional setting.
DTex Launch
At the heart of our exhibit was the launch of our new DTex concept – an innovative digital garment label press, combining decades of engineering know-how with the latest Inkjet technologies. The response was phenomenal and we have been overwhelmed by the feedback received at the event and since returning home.
Alongside the DTex was an LX2 from our LX (LetterFlex) Range, and a TagTrans 250 heat transfer machine. Although the main focus was the DTex launch, we were pleased to see that interest from visitors was spread across all three machines – and we have followed up numerous enquiries about machines from across our entire range.
Next Stop Brussels
It is always a pleasure to showcase products to a well-informed, relevant audience, and also to catch up on what is happening in the market. The next ITMA isn’t till 2023, when it will take place in Milan, Italy between the 8th and 16th June. We are already putting some thought into our next exhibit, but before then it is all systems go for the 40th anniversary Label Expo Europe, taking place on 24th-27th September 2019 at the Brussels Expo Centre. We hope to see you there!
