Focus Label Machinery Ltd based in Bingham Nottingham is pleased to announce the installation of their modular and flexible hybrid digital inkjet d-Flex to Last Bros in Cheshunt.
The group, which turns 70 this year, has installed a new Focus d-Flex hybrid UV digital inkjet press into its Labels division.
The ‘One + One’ configuration, developed and manufactured by Focus Label Machinery Ltd, has the latest Inkjet KM1800i print heads from Konica Minolta which are integrated into the d-Flex and can reach production speeds of up to 70m/min.
Last Bros machine has been configured with two flexo stations, built-in lamination and rotary die-cutting offering the flexibility of full print and converting in-line.
Sales and Marketing Executive Dean Latchford said the installation will continue “a rebirth” for the business.
"The self-contained unit [the d-Flex] will augment and improve on our existing Flexo machinery; this is a great step in the right direction for us and the technology will make us that much more competitive.” said Latchford.
