Everything You Need to Know About A Focus D-Flex Machine

The Focus d-Flex Machine is a high-speed digital Inkjet printing press, which is suitable for a number of low-volume printing applications. It can be used to print both images and variable data onto either un-printed or pre-printed materials, making it ideal for labels, packaging, paper, film, foil, small cartons and other substrates.

Benefiting from the latest Inkjet Single Pass Print technology, the Focus d-Flex Machine can deliver professional label printing results, with low operating and maintenance costs, all via a user-friendly interface.

New call-to-actionFeatures

The d-Flex press from Focus is based on technology created by Konica Minolta; a Japanese brand which has been producing Inkjet presses for more than a decade. It combines Digital Inkjet technology with a flexo print station, and benefits from a single pass operation. The main features of the machine are outlined below:

• High-speed digital Inkjet technology
• Four colours plus white possible
• Printing, laminating, foiling and die cutting in a single pass
• Choice of 250mm or 330mm web widths
• Production speeds of 20-70 Mts/min
• Roll to Roll, Roll to Sheet converting

The system also provides an integrated converting solution, high-end print driver software, and will enable users to print text, images, barcodes and variable data on a range of different surface types. This makes it an excellent option for printing companies looking to print high-quality food packaging, retail product labels and more.

Advantages

One of the key advantages of our d-Flex press is the lack of printing plates or screens, which drastically reduces set up times compared with other flexographic presses. As a result, high-speed, short-run production is possible. In addition, there are no service contracts and no click charges, meaning you only pay for the press, the set up, and the inks and substrates you use.

Another major plus point of the d-Flex system is its adaptability, with changes to layouts possible in a matter of seconds. Meanwhile, a user-friendly touch screen makes the machine easy to operate, and the single pass operation itself is beneficial in reducing waste, making your printing runs more cost-effective.
